I re-piped my house myself. Everything with permits. Inspector checked it and he was happy (second time – not first time, but then I saved ton of money doing it myself).
Re-piping was part of another project – I am doing major remodel (new electrical, new low voltage, new piping, new kitchen, insulation, new bathroom, new drywall, new siding, new furnace / water heater etc).
Because repring is part of another project, I had walls open for some time. About a month after I run piping and passed inspection, I noticed that one of the t-shape connectors is dropping water – one drop every 30 sec or so.
I am going to fix it this weekend, but I have a more generic question:
What can I do to make sure all the connections are correct?
What can I do to alert myself if in future there is problem with one of the pipes? Is there some sort of hi-tech device that I can hide in the wall?

He walked to dawson with the meal witch had one of those silver lids over it so dawson could not see what was on the plate. “Are you ready for something real special?” Joey asked with a smile. “Voila!” Joey said as took the cover off of the plate revealing a large pile of human feces on it. “Oh wow” Dawson said i have never eaten human feces before!” “I know thats why I htought it would be such a lovely surprise” Joey said with a grin. So Joey and dawson ate the feces as best they could. By the end of the meal their face were smeared brown and they were struggling not to vomit. Than Dawson pulled out a large wipped and flayed the skin from Joey’s back till Joey collapsed with pain and pleasure. Than Dawson retired for the night on his large kingsized bed while Joey lay writhing on the marble tiles of the kitchen floor, in agony but happy that he satisfied his master for another day
I am remodeling my kitchen and want to put the stove under a window, but have never seen this before. Is there any type window that could withstand heat enough to be used 6″s above a stove top?

I’m remodeling a kitchen and would like to save money by doing as much as possible without hiring contractors. How hard will it be to install my own countertops? Is this a feasible thing for someone who has never done it before?

I want to remodel my kitchen, and replace all the tile, paint, bathroom counters and doors in my house. I want to put in a cement patio and put it stone tiled bathtub/showers.
I don’t want to add on to the house, or tear down any walls, I just want to give the house a face lift since it was made in the 80’s and looks VERY 80’s.
I want to spend about $40,000 to $50,000
Any advice?
We are on a very very tight budget. I’m not sure of a number, but it’s slim. We need new flooring, fix holes in the walls, new cabinets and countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms….new windows…replace molding and trim…paint…as well as fix our fence out in the backyard and do some landscaping in front and back yard, fix our garage door and level out our driveway…any suggestions? We can do it ourself, but whats the cheapest way to get what we need
and put up an new wall inside your house ,and new kitchen??? if so why my husband can do all this him self
