Ordered granite for a kitchen makeover and ELITE REMODELING in FRISCO, TX made a huge mess – these people should be out out of business. Don’t use them! Not to mention that they overcharge
We are remodeling our kitchen and the new design would use roughly twice as many cabinets as we already have.
Problem is, the existing cabinets, while nice, have proven impossible to identify.
The dealers I have approached seem to be able to match the exact door design but not the finish or vise versa but I can not seem to be able to find the right dealer for this exact brand, whatever it is …
There are no markings in the drawers or anywhere else I can find to tell me who made them.
Asides from visiting every one of the millions of cabinet dealers around, is there an easier way to identify what these cabinets that I have are?

We put in new ceramic tile floor and a new vinyl clad sliding door in the kitchen.
There is a gap between the two. I used the sanded caulk that matched our grout to seal the gap between them but am putting a vinyl peice of 1/4″ X 1/2″ shoe mold over that since the gap isn’t even.
The 1/4″ side will touch the vinyl door frame and the 1/2″ side will lay on the tile and sanded grout.
This is a door our dog goes in and out all of the time so I need a water resistent glue as well.
What then, since we can’t use nails and the glue will be all that keeps it there, would be the best water resistent glue for the 3 surfaces- vinyl, sanded caulk and ceramic tile? Thanks!
Got a quote to box in and tile my bathroom. Agreed. Tiler turns up and starts to try to persuade me to change my mind about how I wanted the tiles laid ie floor and wall same spacing pegs, he wanted to use 2mm on wall and 4mm on floor. Then after me persisting he said that he would get some 3mm pegs and could do it with those. Then he told me that the carpenter would be arriving at 3pm to do the boxing in. He spends all morning sealing the stone tiles then when I return from going out find him using a spirit level to check bath level. Then starts fiddling with the legs of the bath. Two chaps then arrive at 3pm and start messing with the bath, shower tray etc saying that they are not level and will need to be adjusted. They then say to put the bathroom right it would cost me an additional £300. I then say that there is no more in the budget. Then they start backing down and it reduces to £200. I am so upset by this time that I ask them all to call it a day. They leave and the tiler says “if you want to leave it a couple of months – no problem as Jed is not available till 6th July and neither am I”
