them with just a regular can of spray paint from a local arts and crafts store. Since she just did this, I wonder how long the spray paint will last — all that opening and closing — is there a better kind of paint somewhere out there on the market that is guaranteed to last for that kind of wear and tear? Also, I am interested in finding a paint brand that has custom colors, as I am hoping to create a dark green “granite-like” appearance (to match our countertops where are green “Uba Tuba”). Any ideas about either the paint product or method to use are most welcome. Thanks, in advance!
My husband did the floor tiling using the correct adhesive, thickness etc, but some of the tiles keep lifting and the cement will not dry out evenly. After two attempts and lots of expense we are at a loss as to why this is happening. It occured to me that the person who installed the heating perhaps ought to have laid it with matting over the top of it.
The installer says not, but what else could be the cause of the cement not drying on some of the tiles. Some have dried out perfectly well and are fixed others are not.
The concrete floor has the correct screen and was not damp prior to laying the tiles. Does anyone have any ideas please? Before we both go loco.
My husband and father in law are removing a bunch of kitchen appliances from a kitchen they are remodeling. I want to sell them on Craigslist, but can’t find information on how much they are worth. Any ideas??
We have lived in a tile floored home for two years now. and now my new home has carpet and tile. My dog princess will not come on the tile. I even tried bribbing her with a bone. She will wiggle and lay down and when i come up behind her, she is terrified and runs away. Hrmmmm im confused?
I removed as much as the grout haze as I could by simply wiping down. It doesn’t look like there is any haze left, but my tiles don’t seem as dark and shiny as they did before grouting. I don’t think it’s leftover grout haze, but even if it was there are squares of marble in the design, so I don’t think I can use the commercial haze out. Is there any way to get the shine and color back in my tiles? Should I buff the floor with sheepskin, flannel, or something like that?
