Orange County Floor Kitchen Bath

I am thinking to remodel my kitchen on my loft raised ranch and also finish the basement and remodel the bathrooms. Does anyone have any ideas or design plans?
Would like to spend about 50-70 k for all.
Is this reasonable?
Rough breakdown of the cost?

My house was built in the mid 50s in the UK and the pipes and the loft hasn’t been refurbished yet (I think). It would be quite handy to know whether the loft insulation and the pipe lagging contains asbestos because the loft may be getting refurbished soon. The concrete flooring downstairs (where the tiles and carpet lay) may also contain it.
Does anyone know how to tell if it is asbestos or whether it is something similar please?
