I Have Installed Vinyl Tiles Over Previous Vinyl Tiles?

The new tiles are 1 1/2 times larger squares and laid differently. Still, some of the edges lift up and don’t stick properly. I made sure that the floor was clean and smooth before I installed. What should I do? Should I buy vinyl glue? would that work?

When Remodeling A Kitchen, Are Cermic Tiles Installed Before Or After The Cabinets Are Installed.?

Which Is Typically Installed First, Floor Tile Or Cabinets?

We are having our kitchen remodeled and are wondering whether they will install the floor tile before the cabinets or after.

We Recently Had Underfloor Heating Installed In The Bathroom (wiring)?

My husband did the floor tiling using the correct adhesive, thickness etc, but some of the tiles keep lifting and the cement will not dry out evenly. After two attempts and lots of expense we are at a loss as to why this is happening. It occured to me that the person who installed the heating perhaps ought to have laid it with matting over the top of it.
The installer says not, but what else could be the cause of the cement not drying on some of the tiles. Some have dried out perfectly well and are fixed others are not.
The concrete floor has the correct screen and was not damp prior to laying the tiles. Does anyone have any ideas please? Before we both go loco.

Should I Lay Tiling For New Floor *before* The Kitchen Is Installed?

OK so when the old kitchen is ripped out (wahey) should I lay down the new flooring then so that the new kitchen sits on top of it? Or should the new kitchen sit on the stripped back floor of the kitchen and I just tile around it?
It’s a 1950’s house that had vinyl floor tiles down in the kitchen (stuck very hard down on what I think is a concrete floor) and there is now an off-the-roll vinyl flooring over the top of them. Do you think I should be putting a tile flooring down in there in any case or should I try linoleum or get a new vinyl flooring?
thanks

Should The Electrical Wiring Be Visible On The Inside Of Newly Installed Kitchen Cabinets?

A friend of mine had his kitchen remodeled and the wiring for the cabinets is visible in the back of the cabinets. It is also stapled to the side and the back of the cabinet and runs to the bottom corner to the recessed lights. I told him electrical wiring should not be stapled and not visible. I have never opened a cabinet with exposed wiring. Not only that but the molding is not secured to the external cabinet. The doors on the front also have a 1/4″ or so gap when closed. I said the doors need to be flush, almost touching. Not a gap like Dave Lettermans teeth.
