My 7 year old Female Pomeranian has been panting for now almost 24 hours. We live in Houston so it is hot outside BUT we are in a very COOL house. She is drinking water all the time but seems to be still panting…
We have tried wet towels, cold ice water, putting a fan on her and letting her lay on coold tile. She seem groggy when we lays down… does anybody have any ideas as to why and if this is somrthing i should worry about?

My husband had a really good job before we were married as an electronics technician then i got pregnant and he took paternity leave(his boss said that he wasn’t special and didn’t need time off) when he went to go back to work they said he couldn’t come back ,it ended up going to the labour board where he won a $6000 settlement. Since that time(3yrs ago) he hasn’t been able to find steady work anywhere. He is 42yrs old and potential employers keep telling him he is too old for the position. Is there anyone out there in the Hamilton, Dundas area that might have a job for my husband? We are struggling to pay bills and feed our children and he is desperate to work(it’s almost as if the job market is dead) and will do anything.

and much much more. He doesn’t drive because the tranny died in the car, so all jobs should accessible by bus.

Finishing a basement with ceramic tile. I’m using 1/8 spacers for my grout line. I was told not to use the sand grout because it will be too hard to press into joints and isn’t necesary because joints are so small it doesn’t need the extra sand strength. What type should I use? As for color, I don’t want to see stripes. I would like the grout to just blend in. My tile is cream/lt. beige w/grey marble like pattern. Do I use a light grey to bring that out or do I try to match the cream color? I came home from an unhelpful tile store confused and discouraged. I tried their plastic grout samples but when I saw the same color of the actual grout on one of the tiled sample it looked nothing like the plastic sample because of the sand speckling. Its taken so long for me to lay to tile and I had no idea how hard this was going to be. 1600sq ft. is a lot to look at if I choose the wrong color or product. I would truly appreciate any help.
i’m wanting to learn more about laying tile, do it your self home fix up projects, and other tips on doing this type of stuff. . . any books or internet sites that have basic tips/ steps are helpful.
