Ordered granite for a kitchen makeover and ELITE REMODELING in FRISCO, TX made a huge mess – these people should be out out of business. Don’t use them! Not to mention that they overcharge
Has any body gone kitchen remodelling with granite transforamtions. They say they dont have to do tear up and I really like that feature, also costs less than normal granite.
I would like to know about your experiences with the product, maintenance and appearance. Thanks
I am interested in this for a kitchen remodel and would like a little personal insight from anyone with experience with these types of counter tops. Thanks
I’ve fitted several wetrooms with a tiled finish, but never done the more commercial/disabled vinyl finish with the curved upstands, hot welded joints, etc. Anyone direct me to a good system, manufacturer or installation guide?
Carpeting a 1400 sq. ft. office. Price is an issue. I would like to lay them directly on plywood floor (no 1/4″ underlyment). Will plywood seams show through? Should I even consider laying them without gluing down? Any experience good/bad? And suggested source? I see them on internet for $.66 sq foot for excess inventory. Thanks!
1. How to lay Ceramic Tile ?. 2.How to mix sand & cement for the base? 3.Flooring Layout about 80 ft (L) x 20 ft (W). Outdoor. 4. Quantity Sand & Cements ? 5.All answer will be very much appreciated.thanks. 6.No issue for manpower & time waste.
I have a formica kitchen counter and would like to tile it. I saw on one episode of DIY that I could score the counter and lay thin-set and then lay the tile. I need someone expertise who have done this before. I am trying to save money by doing it this way instead of buying a slab of granite. All answers are greatly appreciated.
I’m a college grad with a not so great employment history, and after watching shows like Bike Off and American Chopper on the Discovery Channel during weekday mornings while I remain out of work, I am now starting to toy with the idea of doing good ol’ manual labor to help pay the bills. I’m not talking about being a floor sweeper, but a job requiring a little more skill and higher pay. One position I am considering is one where you lay tiles. I have a tiny bit of experience doing that.. any other ideas? I would probably start out doing odd jobs and stuff like that. I don’t have a vocational degree or certification and definitely am too entrenched in debt to consider going back to school. And no I’m not open to taking out a loan.
Can’t afford a kitchen renovation. Thought of laying ceramic tiles, but dimensions of the bench would make ugly joins – gaps of about 20mm on two sides.
I’m in the midst of doing a kitchen remodel and going over all the options. Too many want to know if anyone have experience with Capital kitchen ranges? How about Bosch? any help would be appreciated.
thanks
