Orange County Floor Kitchen Bath

We recently had our kitchen remodeled recently, and the floor was completely torn out. There is a “basement”, not a real one tho. It is like a mud pit. I don’t know if this is why or what, but i need help on how to get rid of them. Driving me crazy!!!!

We are building a new home. The guys laying the tile on the floor were sweeping massive amounts of dirt as they were putting the tile in. Is it a problem if the floor is not clean when laying the tile?
