We are remodeling our kitchen and the new design would use roughly twice as many cabinets as we already have.
Problem is, the existing cabinets, while nice, have proven impossible to identify.
The dealers I have approached seem to be able to match the exact door design but not the finish or vise versa but I can not seem to be able to find the right dealer for this exact brand, whatever it is …
There are no markings in the drawers or anywhere else I can find to tell me who made them.
Asides from visiting every one of the millions of cabinet dealers around, is there an easier way to identify what these cabinets that I have are?
We are remodeling our kitchen for resale in a few years when the market goes back up. We found an amazing deal on a big selection of light maple cabinets ($1750), but they have a high gloss laminate on them.
Anyone have any experience with showing kitchens with similar laminated cabinets? I think they are custom and were expensive (compared to the $3000 we were willing to shell out). But we live in the suburbs of Chicago in a Tudor-style home and I’m concerned the modern kitchen might deter those looking to buy a more traditional home.

I am remodeling my kitchen, and want to put in a microwave cabinet for resale value. However, as I dont use a microwave, I want it to be a suitable size for my dehydrator, which is 12½” H x 17″ W x 19″ D. Would that be too large for a microwave cabinet?
I am remodeling my kitchen and I need to purcharse hardware for the cabinets, the stain on the cabinets is a water based colonial pine, my appliances are stainless steel and the faucet with be stainless also. This is so confusing !!! Please help

Remodeling kitchen, tore cabinets out and found dead mice stuck on top of hot water heater and the dogs snuck in and found more on the floor i guess, i used decon a few months ago in the cabinets. What dangers and harmful effects may result and how quickly can it hit them?

Not including the countertop, they are 30″ high, too low for me. My plan is to upgrade the countertop (will be laminate), 2 sinks, 2 faucets. Cabinets are in good condition, and would rather not replace them because they were installed on subfloor, then ceramic floor tile was laid around them. There is a 38″ low-wall anchoring the far end.
Is there a way to raise the cabinet height 2″ to 3″ without it looking jerrybuilt?
I’m going to remodel my home office. I would like to use stock kitchen cabinets, I need to locate a source for base cabinets that are approx. 30″ (desk height) and 24″ deep. Can any one help?
