Anyone Ever Lay “peel N’ Stick” Floor Tiles Before? Are They Any Good?
I am on a limited budget, & remodelling my kitchen, so I figured they were the cheapest way to go. Anyone have any advice, tips, complaints?

the ground is tile if that makes a difference.
SOME ARE GIVING BAD INFO on here that will really mess up your project. The bad advice is to clean concrete with Muriatic Acid before applying acid stain. This will make your concrete completely unable to accept an acid stain. Acid Stains work by a chemical reaction with lime in the cement. If you apply any acid beforehand it will neutralize this reaction for your stain making your stain completely useless. Muriatic Acid is great only if your prepping to lay tile or paint concrete and must always be neutralized with baking soda before it dries.
I have 18mm plywood flooring (just laid) in my bathroom. I was wondering if I need to do anything to the plywood before I stick my tiles down on to it?

Also, I may want to tile some of the area. Should I NOT paint the area I plan to tile?

Remodeling a small guest bath with old (1962) linoleum. The guy at lowes recommended painting the linoleum with a latex primer after cleaning it and removing debris. Everything online says clean the linoleum well and lay the self-adhevise tile directly on the linoleum. any advice? (the floor is smooth and without “dings or dents”)
i am laying 18×18 tile down
You can go out and buy a self leveler like custom building products levellite or level quik. This can get expensive. I own a tile company and what we do is use the thinset to build up any individual tiles that need it. Basically just butter the backs of any tiles that need to be raised a bit. If you’ve never done tile work you may want to go with the first option or hire yourself someone that knows what they’re doing because trying to get the tile level on concrete can be a b*tch.
