Since you like modern, I&#039;d suggest natural maple for your cabinets in a slab or recessed panel door style.  I&#039;d also recommend quartz countertops in a light shade -- maybe white or pale grey that looks like concrete. Two great options:  new translucent Corian colors and glass tile.  Marmoleum Click has some great, eco-friendly, healthy flooring options.
