Quarry Tiles On Concrete Floor

Hi how long after laying a concrete floor can you lay quarry tiles on it it is of importance that i find out.

    Minimum 30 days.. You need to let the moisture out from the concrete so the moisture from thinset will properly dry and bond to the concrete.. That is according to the American Tile Contractors guide lines.. GL

    You might want to check directly with the manufacturer of the tile to be sure. If they have a warranty, they might specify a time period.

    I was told to wait six months before painting the floor, but that is a bit different.

    Husband says about a week to a fortnight.

    My whole family are tilers…
    and they about a week.
