Porcelain tiles do not need to be sealed. The grout may be, but not the tile. Porcelain is not shipped pre waxed. However some brands are shipped with beads of hot melt wax applied in 2 lines to prevent breaking during the transportation. Before you mess up the tile call the place you got purchased the tile from and confirm what you are seeing. If you have lines of hot melt wax or glue it can be popped off with a plastic scraper.

seems you haven’t applied the sealer and you have just washed them off with water and dried them if they didn’t come prewaxed then and you didn’t put any wax on them …then your trying to remove something that’s not there.
if washing with water dulled the shine then your water is to hard.
try some lime away diluted really well a 1 to 20 ratio (just enough to break the hard water deposits yet rinse them clean.)
    then continue as should.

You will probably have to buy a wax stripping chemical from your local hard wear store.

try steam cleaning, it will shift almost anything & no chemicals are involved so an all round hit
