How Much Would It Cost To Remodel My Home?
ok well i need to get a whole new kitchen(cabinets ,drawers, dishwasher, stove, and oven)I also need to get new toilets, and bathroom sinks.I just want decent quality, nothing fancy. How much would it cost, and what is the cheapest store to go to.
Im with guyod, I myself have done such handy man work in my past. not every handyman is a good one. the things you want installed are not difficult but need to be done correctly. google home depot and lowes site to see the cost of the items you want and then buy them all and have them at your house, they deliver,( the store will help you get the right cabinets etc. ) IF you bring them all the correct measurements. And if you open a credit card account with them you will get a discount on everything at time of purchase, then just cancel the credit card. then then hire one person to install them all. but look for a referred handyman , maybe ask a realtor. if you hire a plumber for bath and a cabinet installer for other you will pay too much labor.and to much for the goods. I would have spent about a long week to that work for around $1000 to 1500 labor, depends on your house and how much you stayed out of my way..if you had the stuff there. And you will also want to paint the walls before you install all the new stuff, and maybe some new vinyl flooring while you have toilet and vanity removed . it is so easy to do then. One good handyman can do all of this in a continuous manner.
just guessing around 10 grand give or take a little, lucky part for you is the economy is hurting so bad every company is competing against each other with lower than normal prices to stay afloat. Your best bet would be to buy all you wanted or needed and find a handyman or a remodeling company to put it in for you. Get prices from allot of different remodeling companies
Go to home depot or lowes and find a handyman in install it.
you can get toilets for $50 and nice vanities under 100
there instock cabinets start about 75 a foot for base cabinet and 50 for upper. 10 a foot for countertops.
I can’t tell you exactly how much but our favorite store for it’s prices and what they have is Lowes. My Aunt and Uncle are renovating their victorian home inside and out and they use both Home Depot and Lowes.
Look at Ikea.
Also, make sure to write out your plan first and don’t start stuff out of order!! I know this from exp.
Ikea?
And for appliances go to a local store
Im guessing 4,000 dollars but im not really sure
I would say lowes or homedepot would be the place to save money
a lot. more than you have
