		<description>I &#039;remodeled&#039; my kitchen for fairly cheap and it still looked nice.  If you shop around, know what you&#039;re looking for and do alot of it yourself, you&#039;ll get off cheaper.  I bought a discontinued tile for the floor for only $11 for a box of 25.  We bought REAL granite countertops from an auction of a house that was being demolished.  All we had to do was cut them down to size.  Our cabinets were in great shape, just outdated.  I sanded, re-finished and added new hardware.  They came out great!  Our BIG project was ripping out an old bar and adding a wall.  That was probably the most expensive part.</description>
