as long as there are no grout lines you can lay the carpet right over it. You can either use a commercial glue down carpet that doesn’t require padding or put down nail strips and use a padding under it. Good Luck.
is it cvt tile? if it is then just glue it down with carpet glue. there should be no problem with doing this i have done alot of floors this way and there never has been a problem reported.
That depends on how thick the new carpet is, put down a small sample and see if all the doors clear first, if they do great ,if not then you know you have to remove the tile, don’t forget you’ll need a pad under the carpet too.
