		<description>I have NO experience with underfloor heating, but I don&#039;t think it sounds like a good idea.  You can only use electrical appliances, fixtures and fittings for the inteded purpose.  If it is not ul listed, throw it out before it burns your house down.  If it is ul listed, it has only been tested in the intended application.  Your best bet would be to read through the paperwork thaty came with it for any warnings or indications.  My instinct tells me that the difference is that ceramic tile won&#039;t melt or burn, where laminate will.</description>
