I looked up a tile I bought last year from Home Depot. It is Daltile’s French Quarter, color Cobblestone, size 12×12:http://www.fastfloors.com/lp_10792,0,833…
The “Retail Price” is $9.60 per square foot, which is an absurd price only a fool would pay. Fastfloors.com is asking $2.36 per square foot after rebate, or $25.96 per box.
I paid $17.51 per box at Home Depot.
Of course, you’d have to pay for shipping if you bought at fastfloors.com. In my location in Southern California, the shipping charge is $910 if I bought 100 boxes, which adds $9.10 to the price of each box.
Net price, twice what I paid at Home Depot. Not a good deal.
